Memory, or the act of remembering, is a form of creation. Each time we think back on a moment it is distorted from the truth. The more time that passes, the more distorted, or abstracted, the memory and our image of it becomes. Passing of time changes, simplifies, blurs the edges and rids detail, however, the memory retains merit in its new form. Time and abstraction are similar forces.
