Today the definition of print and printmaking continues to expand far beyond its original invention as a tool for communication and uniform reproduction. The unprecedented acceleration of new developments for creating multiples, ranging from 3D printing to virtual reality, has reinvigorated our artistic practices with infinite possibilities. We as artists seek to explore and expound on these possibilities; simultaneously giving voice to our own interests, using the understanding of the notion of print as the springboard for creation.
