Dear Rabbit movie fans, we are making a jump from last weeks 1970's animated masterpieces to a more recent gem of the french culture. "Les Triplettes de Belleville" by director Sylvain Chomet is our second pick for our animation series. Dipping in the spirit of Jacques Tati's beautifully subtle world, Chomet's work is a charm, and worth seeing more than once!
We all loved it. Come and cozy up with us in the couches and bring all the Bs (bottle/beers/booze) you need.
Rabbit Movie Nights are back!! Introducing the new year with our animation series, we are starting our screenings with the one and only 'Fantastic Planet' by the French director Rene Laloux and illustrated by Topor (close friend of Alejandro Jodorowsky and Fernando Arrabal from the Panic movement). This is not to be missed! There really aren't that many films like this in this world...
Dear Rabbit goers, this is the time when people leave town to put on their festive attires and celebrate baby jesus with their mothers and brothers... BUT! in case you were looking for something different, come to movie night on wednesday! This week we are screening Xmas silent films from different directors of the early century , such as Thomas Edison, Edwin S. Porter and D.W. Griffith.
Up next at Rabbithole, we are screening Videodrome by David Cronenberg. Debby Harry, 80's tv conspiracy, and trippy surreal sequences... typical good stuff. Hope to see ya'll there!
