04 MAY 11: "Fitzcarraldo" by Werner Herzog
Dear Rabbit fans!
this week our screening room turns to German New Wave visionary director Werner Herzog and his controversial film 'Fitzcarraldo' (1982). Inspired by true events, Herzog showcases the follies of movie making by accomplishing this monumental production without using special effects. The story follows the journey of an opera-loving madman (played by Klaus Kinski) who is determined to drag a boat over a mountain in the middle of the Amazon jungle.
Hope you can make it. Bring all your friends!
Rabbit will be waiting with couches and booze.
It's FREE and (still) BYOB!
