THE ORIGINAL RABBIT MOVERS WEBSITE

The original Rabbit Movers website, 2005–2009, a storybook made by Dane Troup and Shawn Lyons, recovered from Shawn’s own backup and rebuilt.

Rabbit Movers (founded by Shawn Lyons, 2003; sold in 2020) was the moving company behind Rabbithole: its movers were artists, musicians and writers, and its trucks became the Art Attacks. Its first website was a Flash storybook: you clicked a book, it opened, and inside were the company’s pages and short, fanciful bios of the movers.

• Open the storybook (rebuilt from the original files; works on phones and computers)
• Play the original 2005 Flash movie (the recovered file, playing through Ruffle, a Flash emulator; best on a computer)

Designed and built by Dane Troup, with Shawn Lyons as creative director.

The original’s music is not included (a licensed song from the Punch-Drunk Love soundtrack); the storybook plays a newer track in its place. Contact details have been removed.
