our movie nights are back!
this week we are screening German New Wave director Wim Wenders' acclaimed film "Paris, Texas", a visual masterpiece that erects the nostalgia of the American southwestern type, with stunning landscapes and slide soundtrack by Ry Cooder - whose main theme is based on Blind Willie Jonhson's "Dark Was the Night". Palme d'Or winner at 1984 Cannes festival, this film has been described to be the great German director's love letter to America.
