this week we are entering the highly stylized and colorful world of Jacques Demy's acclaimed musical 'Les Demoiselles de Rochefort'. This 1967 old Hollywood inspired musically charged film by French New Wave era filmmaker (and husband of Agnes Varda) stars Catherine Deneuve, her late sister Francoise Dorleac (who was killed in a car accident shortly after filming), and Gene Kelly's classic dance moves.
