She has taught sculpture, pageantry, and puppetry at a variety of universities and community organizations, such as University of the Arts, Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, The New York Academy of Graduate Figurative Art, The Findhorn Foundation, and many others. She has won awards and grants from places such as the Mid Atlantic Arts Foundation, The Venture Fund, and The March Of Dimes. She is also a registered nurse working in pediatric home care with medically fragile and technology –dependent children. She spent four years living at a spiritual and environmental community in Scotland called Findhorn, where she participated as a maintenance woman, a cook, a puppeteer, and a clown.
