INTIMACY is an art show that explores the intimate and private relationships with people, places, and things curated by Kate Sweeney and Aaron Tsuru.

Kate Sweeney is based out of Columbus, Ohio and spends much of her time in Brooklyn. She is fine art photographer and visual artist often exploring her relationship with her self in her series of dark, raw, and romantic self-portraits. - kate-sweeney.tumblr.com

Aaron Tsuru is a fine art photographer and zinester out of Brooklyn. Their work explores and challenges sexuality, beauty, and gender. Their aesthetic is lo-fi and DIY, trying to capture people and things as they really are. - tsurufoto.com

What is Intimacy? We find intimacy with people, through love, relationships, friendships, family, but intimacy is not limited to human interaction! We develop intimate connections with pets, places, gadgets, toys, hobbies, activities… well, almost anything! What does intimacy look like to you?
