Marking Time, Shifting Space consists of (1) large scale installation and (8) woven paintings indicating an evolution in recent work by artist, Victoria Manganiello (b.1989). Referencing the manual presence the artist exerts throughout the hands-on process of weaving

This event is a collaboration between three women­led organizations. The focus is on converging the talented artists in our community under the broad notion of “Body Positivity” for the purpose of reframing how we talk, feel, and think about bodies. BODY/Space will be held at the end of March a gallery­space in DUMBO. It is equal parts a call for art/participants and an open exhibition for the community to observe, learn, participate and connect with their fellow community members.

The unprecedented acceleration of new developments for creating multiples, ranging from 3D printing to virtual reality, has reinvigorated our artistic practices with infinite possibilities.
